In Loving Memory of My Mother
Do You Know What the Best Gift Is?
Having a Mother to teach me right from wrong, Even if it might take long. Having a Mother to make me smile, Even if it can take awhile. Having a Mother to cheer me up, Even though she has had enough. Having a Mother till the very end, A Mother that I can call my best friend. Having a Mother who has taught me so much, With only one dose of her motherly touch. Having a mother all my life 'Cause without her the world won't seem right.
The World's Best Mom!! You've always been there to cheer me up, Even if you have had enough. You've always been there to make me smile, Even if it can take awhile. You've always showed me right from wrong, Even though it might take long. You've always helped me with my mistakes, Now it's my turn to help with your aches. That is why I write this poem today, Just a few words to brighten your day You've done all this nice stuff for me, Now let me do something to help you. Tell me ANYTHING you want me to do! I will help you, like you have helped me, Because you are not only my mom, But a best friend to me!
